After Anil met PM, Mukesh meets key govt officials

New Delhi: Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani today met key government officials and the deputy chairman of Planning Commission, a day after his younger brother Anil called on the Prime Minister and others.

Besides Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Mukesh met Cabinet Secretary K. M. Chandrasekhar and Principal Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office T. K. A. Nair, sources said.

on Wednesday, Anil had called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as also Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and a few others.

No comments could be obtained from the spokespersons of either RIL or ADAG.

The two brothers are fighting a court battle over gas supply from Mukesh-led RIL to Anil Ambani group firm RNRL. The government too has moved a petition in the case, while power PSU NTPC is separately fighting a gas dispute with RIL.
